God will prepare us through brokenness in Direct Proportion to what He has planned for our lives.
As a Christian - God sets in motion a whole set of plans designed to conform you to the image of Christ.
1. Meek (not weak) Spirit - Approachable - Open to others. Will share your heart with others. Help them in their brokenness.
2. God will give you a sensitive spirit to pick up on hurts of others. Will feel what they feel. Gain a mercy spirit.
3. Will enjoy life more. We relate to others better, love them more, and we are loved more.
4. After brokenness you will be more easily edified and find it easier to learn spiritual truths, you will see things differently. The Holy Spirit teaches you within.
5. Brokenness shatters Pride and Ego - Frees us for the teaching of the Holy Spirit and new areas of service.
6. You will discover a deeper revelation of how God works in your life. Look back and see what God had in mind all along. Recognize how God was using people and circumstances to do this great thin in your life.
7. Where you thought you were being hurt by others - God used it to your good. You need to forgive others and thank God. If we resist God in His special work in out lives we can cause hurt and despair in the lives of others.
8. He gives us a forgiving spirit - He sets you free.
9. God will give you a Compassionate love for other people. You will not insist on your own rights. Real liberation.
10. God will give an inner peace and quietness. No matter what the circumstances.
Is it WORTH it - to be refashioned in his image?
Here are promises of God for those going through brokenness.
1. He will break you only in love.
2. When God chastises us He is applying His discipline for correction.
3. God never punishes his saints - He is readying us for a more Godly life and ministry. It will reshape our whole attitude and relationship to Him.
God will not destroy us in the process and He will not desert you. (Though you may feel like it - our feelings are deceiving.)

How can we imagine what God had in mind for us?
God is patient with us in the process - But you dare not resist His work in you life.
"The objective of preparation for maximum service calls for maximum positive response to God."
"We must relinquish our rights and TRUST Him completely!"
Once you yield to brokenness - once you know what God is doing - once you understand the process - there is NO LIMIT TO WHAT GOD CAN DO IN YOUR LIFE.
There are REWARDS.
Our lives become MAGNETIC.
A broken life begins to shine. (You see it.)
This is the stuff revivals are made of. Every great awakening in history has begun with confessing, repenting, tears, and reconciliation.
The product is Holiness, righteousness and purity.
